Life cycle variation allows Users to take assets into account whose service criteria life cycle degradation paths deviates from that of majority of the assets.
For example, physical condition of an asset located in a coastal area may have a shorter life compared with assets located in other areas due to corrosion. An asset located in an urban area may decay faster due to high usage compared with a similar asset located in a regional area.
